Bitblox CEO Brandt Page on Disrupting iGaming with Crypto Prediction Games

Brandt Page, CEO at Bitblox

Former Investment Banker now leading the de-fi revolution in iGaming and derivatives. We caught up with Brandt Page for a quick chat about his plans to disrupt the iGaming space.

💬 Bitblox set out on a mission this year to disrupt the iGaming space by introducing a totally new vertical. How have your crypto price prediction games seen you deliver on this ambition?

When we founded Bitblox, our aim was definitely to bring something new to the table.

Rather than just providing a fresh take on existing slot or crash games, we wanted to get ahead of the curve by creating an entirely new vertical that really spoke to players’ growing interest in skill-based games (SBGs).

With this in mind, we closely analysed market data and player feedback to continually refine our product and we’re now happy to say we offer both lightning-fast games that appeal to Gen Z and Millennial audiences and more light-hearted titles that can be enjoyed by casual users.

💬 One of the things that helps Bitblox games stand out is their unique combination of elements of skill and elements of luck. How do you think this has broadened their appeal with players?

I think the great thing about Bitblox games is that players can approach them in a number of ways. On the one hand, those with an existing interest in cryptocurrency can treat them like trading tool and analyse the charts we provide to gain market insights and inform their betting decisions.

On the other, the fact that there’s still an element of chance involved means that even players with a limited understanding of crypto can engage with them and potentially profit without leaning on any particular skill set. In this respect, Bitblox games can appeal to many different types of player.

💬 Given Bitblox games have shown strong engagement numbers with both casino players and sports bettors, where do you see your releases fitting into the current iGaming landscape?

This is honestly a puzzle that we’re still trying to solve, but it’s definitely one that we’ve created for ourselves by design.

If you look at a title like 3 in a Row, we’ve built a product that combines game mechanics similar to those of placing an accumulator bet with the aesthetics and fast-paced gameplay of a slot machine.

As such, it’s very intentional that we’ve created this overlap in interest among sports bettors and casino players and we believe by developing games that can’t easily be put into one box or the other, we can ultimately capture a bigger share of both markets.

💬 Would you say the popularity of Bitblox games has given us any broader insights into how iGaming preferences are evolving and how have you adapted them to meet player demands?

As I mentioned earlier, we’re definitely seeing a growing demand among iGaming audiences for SBGs.

I think these days, a significant portion of users want to feel they have a more active role to play in dictating the outcome of any game they play – and this is an itch that conventional RNG-based titles simply can’t scratch.

Given the results of Bitblox games aren’t dictated by RNG, but are instead pinned to the price movements of the Bitcoin market, we cater to this need for greater autonomy by providing players with the information they need to make more meaningful choices.

💬 What does 2025 have in store for Bitblox? Would you say the market for crypto-based price prediction games is still growing and do you have any new games on your current road map?

I’d say it’s become quite apparent there’s a real demand among players and operators for crypto price prediction games as they’re filling a gap in the market that no one has fully address up until now.

As the creators of this innovative vertical, Bitblox will have its finger on the pulse of both the iGaming and crypto sectors as they continue to grow and we’ll be seeking out feedback on ways we can improve our product.

In terms of upcoming games, we expect to launch our newest title, BitSlap, very soon and also have a horse racing-based game, CryptoNags, in the pipeline for 2025.
